Blizzard Warning!

The National Weather Service has expanded the Blizzard Warning which now includes Baltimore City, Baltimore Co., Harford Co., Anne Arundel Co., Calvert Co., St. Mary’s Co., Prince George’s Co., and Charles Co.  Snowfall totals of 3-7″ are fairly common across the metro area as of 9:45 p.m. Here on T.V. Hill I just measured 5″.  The Weather Service reported observers out west in Allegany Co. are checking in with 12-15″ already and some thundersnow was also reported about an hour ago!  The 0z (7pm EST) NAM cranked out another 2.09″ of liquid equivalent precipitation for Baltimore, which means we are on track to see widespread areas with 2 feet or more of snow by Saturday afternoon.  Be safe, enjoy and thanks for tracking this with us here at WBAL-TV.
