Gulf Stream View

The Wednesday night satellite image provided a fairly good view of the Gulf Stream current moving up the southeast U.S. coastline, turning northeastward at Cape Hatteras.

  1. Just wanted to let you guys know I have tried the interactive radar a few times since you changed the format. The screen size is very limited/rectangular and loads so much slower than the previous version (and I have a fast machine and high speed connectivity). I used to use WBAL’s weather exclusively (I am a weather watcher – AND think you guys are the best!), but think I need to migrate back to the Weather Channels interactive maps – no wait for loading and the actual screen size if more square, less rectangular and allows more “map”
    – at what ever zoom you are at – to be seen. Just wanted you to know. Change is usually good, but I don’t think it was in this case.
