Quick Shot Of Snow On The Way

A fast moving system will be moving across the area early Friday. Cold temperatures guarantee that any precipitation will fall as snow. Computer models are calling for generally light snow for the Baltimore-Washington metro areas. Tom’s forecast is calling for 1-3 inches. This is very manageable compared to the big storm of several weeks ago andt it will likely be enough to make for some slippery going for the Friday morning rush hour.

The graphic above shows one computer model’s estimate for snowfall for this storm. The mountains of western Maryland will receive the most snow. Nearby, Cecil & Kent counties in northeast Maryland may receive an inch or more snow than is expected in the metro areas.
