Set Up For Rain

The rain held off for the Baltimore area on Monday but the atmosphere is primed and ready to go. Storms Monday evening got as close as northern Virginia and were widely scattered.

The Monday night satellite image show a more active band of weather in a line from the Great Lakes to the mid Mississippi Valley.

It appears that Tuesday will be a more active weather day in Maryland. The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has identified the region as being under a slight risk for severe activity. Hail and damaging winds would be the most likely outcome.
