Record Low Temperature

May 11th is the anniversary of the coldest temperature recorded in Baltimore in May. The year was 1966 and the temperature dropped to 32 degrees.

From this point on, the record books indicate that temperatures remain above freezing in Baltimore.

The next time temperatures drop to the freezing level in the Baltimore records is October 4. In 1974 the low temperature was 31 degrees.
