Hardly Like Winter!

We are not even half way through February and we have experienced two significant shots of unseasonably mild temperatures.

The graph above displays the temperature swings that have been recorded since February 1 plus expected temperatures through next Friday.

The two warm spikes were on February 1 (59 degrees) and February 7 (62 degrees … 2 degrees short of the record for the day). The cold spike was February 5 when the day’s high temperature of 25 degrees was no warmer than the average low.

Temperatures in the coming week should be a bit less dramatic, but, above the average for the season.

  1. It’s been so nice I’ve had my windows open! It’s like a mini Spring.

  2. You know its been a cold January when 63 degrees feels like a heatwave! Winter still has 6 weeks or so to go and something tells me not to get my surfboard out yet! At 700 pm Sunday 56 degrees, now at 1100 pm its 36, yeah.. it’s still February!
