Bertha Nearing Bermuda

Hurricane Bertha nears Bermuda Friday morning.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s high resolution satellite imagery caught a nice picture of Hurricane Bertha nearing Bermuda Friday morning. The storm, with winds of 90 mph, was within 250 miles of Bermuda as of late Friday evening. The official forecast track keeps the center of Bertha east of Bermuda, but the storm has slowed it’s forward progress and it is still a threat to Bermuda this weekend.
