June 2008: Warm and Wet

After a cooler than normal month of May, several ninety degree days pushed the June 2008 average temperature back above normal. The wet pattern of May eased off a bit, but June 2008 still came in with above normal rainfall. There is no clear climate signal on which to base an outlook for July with equal chances of a warm or cool month and equal chances of wet or dry conditions.

Average Temperature: 75.4 (3.6 degrees above normal)

Highest Temperature: 96 on June 10th
Lowest Temperature: 52 on June 18th

Rainfall: 3.70″ (0.27″ above normal)
Trace or more of rain on 16 of 30 days
