Record Rain

February is off to a soggy start, in fact, a record breaking soggy start! The 1.80″ of rain at BWI-Marshall on Friday, surpassed the old record of 1.60″ for February 1st. The spring-like storm produced more rain in a single day than in all of January (1.47″). In northern Baltimore and Carroll Counties even more rain fell. Parkton had 2.71″ and Millers recorded 2.28″. Drier weather will move in for the weekend and temperatures are expected to stay above normal through the middle of next week.
