It’s That Time Of Year

Cold air has been building up in the arctic regions in Canada and it will be spilling into the lower 48 states this weekend.

This is the time of year when temperatures get their coldest. January 19 in 1994 was one of the coldest ever recorded in the region.

The arctic air that will be moving in for the next few days may not be quite as extreme as 1994 but it will serve as a reminder that the potential for extreme cold and snow will be with us for another month or so.

Keep warm!
